COLOR VISION DEMONSTRATIONS
Welcome to the Institute for Psychology at Regensburg!
Here we present some demonstrations on topics that are related to
research subjects at our labratories. They are based on a work by
Hans Irtel
who programmed the public-domain demonstrations. It is available
via
anonymous
ftp from our local ftp-server for a variety of platforms (DOS,
Win95, Sun Sparc) and also in source code. Each demonstration will be
explained and we also supply references to literature.
You will see a control panel which allows to change colors. It looks like this:
Each button changes the Red- Green- or Blue-Value for the selected part.
The big "-" decreases a lot while the small
"-" decreases a little. Accordingly for the
"+" and "+" signs.
oh.. be careful with reloading any page, best You avoid it...
Befor You can go further, make sure the following is true for Your
Computer-Configurations:
- Your browser must support frames with the "border=0"-option (which is true for Internet Explorer 3.0 and netscape v3.0) Some effects will be lost, if there is a border between color fields.
- We made extensive use of JavaScript - so it has to be enabled.
- Your graphics has to be setup such that it supports more than 256 colors. Otherwise on some demonstrations You will see weird color-compositions.
- It might be important to have enough free RAM or memory-cache but it could also depend on my programming...
If You still encounter any problems viewing these demos please send us a mail,
and we'll see if we can do something about it.
